Fittings and Replacements
Channelglaze Ltd has been serving its customers for nearly 30 years and has gained a reputation for high quality workmanship, reliability & service. We are members of the British Marine Federation and The Canal Boat Association and abide by their code of conduct for business.
Window Fitting, Replacement and Refurbishment
We can fit new windows into your new build boat or replace existing windows. We can also offer refurbishment and re-sealing of windows to seal leaks and drafts, providing that the windows are in a suitable condition. Please note that our windows have differing technical details, dimensions etc. to those of some of our competitors, and you should therefore confirm which windows are currently in your boat, since our products may not fit the aperture.
Channelglaze's fitting service is known for its high quality, using only the best products whilst maintaining an extremely high level of workmanship, reliability and service. Due to our current capabilities we do not have the labour force to deal with a large amount of fitting jobs. We can, however, offer a fitting service from one of our trusted outsourced fitters and are confident in doing so.
Cratch Window Fitting
We can manufacture high quality replacement cratch windows to match your current windows. This can be done in a range of glazing options within some of our bespoke aluminium frames. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require further information. Please note that all key details and requirements will need to be discussed in full and sizes, frame thicknesses, fixings methods will need to be finalised prior to assembly.
Window Furniture, Gaskets and Glass Replacements
We often get enquiries about replacements for window furniture, gaskets and glass and often have to ask a number of questions to find a solution. It is often rare that our gaskets will fit our competitors’ windows and rare that we have a competitors’ window furniture, which is why we usually ask the origin of the windows first. If photos of the windows in question are forwarded to us then we can recognise whether the window is one of ours and can advise accordingly.
Although we struggle to find solutions for windows that may not have been manufactured by us, we do try to help where possible. We can meet many glazing enquiries and can offer alternative solutions where needed.
