The escape window utilises a fixed aluminium frame, an outward opening aluminium frame and two extremely robust hinge parts to ensure that the window is hard-wearing. There is no need for drainage on these types of window, since the fixed frame does not utilise the drainage channel. Around the perimeter of the entire opening frame on the flange of the window is a marine adhesive foam tape, which acts as a seal and draft excluder when the window is closed. The 4mm toughened pane of glass is fixed into the channel of the opening frame, meaning it can be held in place by its aluminium slide stay arms and quickly undone for ease of exit. Gallery
